At Penticton Pediatric Therapy, we offer the unique approach of a combined OT and PT assessment. This enables us to provide a tailor-made service with a holistic child-centered approach, addressing all physical, cognitive, and sensory challenges that may be present.

We use a family-centred approach to set goals and collaborate. 

Our Team includes  a Rehabilitation Assistant who works closely with our therapists to implement your child's individual therapy plan, stretching your therapy dollars. 

Occupational Therapy will help your child gain independence in everyday tasks including self care, school and leisure activities by improving: 

• cognitive skills (thinking, organizing, time management)
• attention, flexible thinking, and working memory
• hand writing and fine motor skills
• swallowing, mealtime management, and sensory concerns with food and food textures
• behavior through self and emotional regulation

Physical therapy evaluates and addresses problems with motor skills. A physiotherapist can help  with the following challenges:

• Autism
• Congenital talipes equinovarus 
• Cerebral palsy
• Toe walking
• DCD (coordination disorder)
• DDH (hip dislocation)
• Traumatic brain injury
• Gait abmormalities
